What we build
Bare act readers for India's three new criminal codes.
In July 2024 the Indian Penal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Indian Evidence Act were replaced. We are building one careful reader for each of the three statutes that took their place. Each app carries the full section text, works with no network connection, and keeps your bookmarks between sessions.
BNSS Bare Act
The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 — the procedural code that replaced the CrPC. Investigation, arrest, bail, trial and appeal, arranged so you can follow a stage through from start to finish.
BSA Bare Act
The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 — the law of evidence that replaced the Indian Evidence Act. Relevancy, admissions, burden of proof and the electronic evidence provisions, in full and in order.
How we work
Fewer apps, kept in good repair.
Vear Services is a small studio. We would rather maintain a short list of tools carefully for years than ship a dozen and abandon them. Every app we release is built with native frameworks, works without a network connection, and asks for a permission only when a feature genuinely cannot run without it.
Statutes get amended. When a section changes, the app gets updated — that is the whole job.
